Pierluigi Bazzucchi, graphic designer, specialized in branding and visual communication, with a focus on contemporary visual culture and creative development, inspired by exploration, between Italy and Spain. My passion for the underground world has shaped a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses visual identities, art direction, typography and editorial design. Both in teamwork and individual work, I combine strategy and design, giving life to projects that reflect experimentation and innovation.


Visual Identity
REV - Ruta Electrónica Visual
For this project, I designed the full visual system of REV, a yearly cultural event that reactivates the graphic and sonic archive of La Ruta del Bakalao. The project combines music, design, and collective memory in a three-day experience of talks, exhibitions, performances, and workshops. I developed the visual identity, creating modular logos, a unique typographic language, and a color palette inspired by printing errors and ‘90s rave aesthetics. I designed the full graphic system — posters, publications, merchandise, and social media. My role also included editorial direction, print production, and defining the photographic style. REV is not a tribute, but an active reclamation of a forgotten visual world, brought into the present through design.

Matadero Madrid

Recently I worked on this project for Matadero Madrid, under the supervision of Koln Studio. The work was done in a team. After a study on the spaces of Matadero and its initiatives, the opportunity was seen for the creation of a new Nave, which could take care of Ecoart and host its artists in a unique and special space.

VENTIQUATTRO - Visual Magazine
For 24, I managed the entire creative process, from concept development to editorial production. I defined a raw, black-and-white visual aesthetic, conceived as a true visual manifesto. Every graphic decision was made to enhance contrast and deliver an immersive experience, where the absence of color becomes a language of its own. I handled the typographic and layout design, ensuring a dynamic balance between image and text to evoke intensity and clarity. The content was carefully curated – photography, stories, and street fragments – to give voice to a more underground Italy, one made of margins, urban culture, and lived experiences. I also oversaw the physical production of the magazine, from print to finishes, ensuring quality and coherence throughout. 24 is the outcome of a handcrafted, narrative-driven approach, where each page is designed to reveal reality in its most direct and powerful form.

Icono Studios is a creative co-working space located in La Coruña. Art and fashion become tools of expression and discovery. Each street is an opportunity to explore creativity and share experiences with other artists. Icono Studios is more than just a co-working space, it is a community that celebrates art in all its forms.





Graphics
IPA
Graphic designs and illustrations of some of my favorite characters for IpaAdventures. The designed visual language draws inspiration from early internet aesthetics, retro tracks and the demo scene.

It was fun to work on the project dedicated to Henri Matisse, "The Cut Outs", from the first works to the cut-outs, for the MuseoReinaSofia developed with IED Madrid. Imagining that his works could be used to create new forms and spaces was one of the central points of the project. You can find the brush for the city.

Little Tilor
For Little Tailor, supplier of Inditex, the time has come to take an important step forward. I worked first by redesigning the company profile, then by moving on to the creation of the brand manual. Together with the team we worked on the first production of Little Tailor products as a new brand.
