Pierluigi Bazzucchi is a graphic designer specialised in branding, editorial design and art direction, with a strong focus on visual systems, typography and printed matter. His practice combines research, concept and experimentation to develop coherent identities and publications across cultural and independent projects.
Working between Italy and Spain, his work reflects an interest in contemporary visual culture, narrative design and the graphic language of the everyday.

Visual Identity
REV - Ruta Electrónica Visual
Full visual identity and graphic system for REV, a cultural event reactivating La Ruta del Bakalao. Inspired by ‘90s rave aesthetics — modular logos, custom type and vibrant, error-based colors. Applied across posters, editorial pieces, merchandise and social media. Also includes editorial direction, print production and photography style. Not a tribute — a contemporary reclaim of a forgotten visual language.

Creative Direction
VENTIQUATTRO - Editoriale Indipendente Italiano
Concept and full editorial production for 24 — a visual manifesto in black and white. A raw, high-contrast aesthetic where the absence of color becomes expressive language. Typography and layout built to intensify the tension between image and text.Content curated around underground Italy: street stories, photography, lived experience. Handcrafted, narrative-led publication revealing reality in its most direct form.

Graphic System
Matadero Madrid - Centro de creación contemporánea
Project developed for Matadero Madrid under the guidance of Koln Studio. Created in collaboration with a team, following a spatial and conceptual analysis of Matadero and its initiatives. The proposal imagined a new Nave dedicated to Ecoart — a space to host artists and support environmental creativity through a unique and purpose-driven experience.

Art direction for exhibition
Museo Reina Sofia
Visual proposal for “The Cut Outs” — a project inspired by the work of Henri Matisse, developed for Museo Reina Sofía with IED Madrid. Explores the transition from early works to his cut-out phase, imagining how his shapes and colors could be reinterpreted to create new urban forms and spatial compositions. An exercise in transforming art into environment — where the brush becomes a tool for the city.

Visual Identity
Icono Studios
Creative direction for Icono Studios, a co-working space based in La Coruña. A project where art and fashion act as tools for expression, identity and shared experience. More than a workspace — a creative community rooted in the street, celebrating collaboration and everyday visual culture.

Art Direction
nwc.lab
Latest drop for nwc.lab. A t-shirt designed as a tribute to the city of A Coruña, which welcomed me during a formative chapter of life. From graphics and production to supplier coordination and shooting direction, the process was fully handled in-house. For more experiments, visit the nwc.lab Instagram page.

Graphic Language Exploration
Ipa
Graphic designs and illustrations for IpaAdventures — a playful series built around personal favorite characters. The project draws from early internet aesthetics, retro video game tracks and the graphic noise of the demo scene, creating a nostalgic yet vibrant visual world.

Brand Identity
Little Tailor
Brand development for Little Tailor — Inditex supplier taking its first steps as an independent brand. The process began with a complete redesign of the company profile, followed by the creation of a full brand manual. The project culminated in the first production run under the new identity, developed in collaboration with the internal team.
