CARGO TYPEFACECARGO is a typeface designed as a functional visual system, shaped by the industrial language of cargo ships, containers, and infrastructures built to endure, carry, and move. An alphabet created to take up space and speak with weight, rhythm, and presence. CARGO is monospace, uppercase-only, and built around a reverse contrast that breaks typographic neutrality to enhance visual impact. Each letter is compact, direct, and structural, designed to exist on real surfaces and support messages that demand attention. I designed CARGO as a useful and solid type system, but also as a graphic statement: one that carries, like a container.
